Went out early for a bottom bounce and the deckie managed to pull up this Dhuie it went 12.5kgs on the lie detector.
 
I hooked onto something big and it went straight under the boat and then i go busted off, i reckon it was a shark, well at least that is what i am telling myself to avoid disappointment.

Condititions were shite, it was blowing big time out there, it calmed off a little bit and we trolled for Mackies, but didnt get anything.
 
Trolling is dangerous i was very close to falling asleep after getting up at 4am, would have ended up on the reef at the West End of Rotto smiley

i love the shark theory! my deckie lost a good fish last week and called it for a shark! untill next drop he pulled a 16kg duhie with his hook in it!
