We got stuff all today, had heaps of tuna all over us but couldnt get one on the line, tried a quick bottom bounce with only a small blackass & snapper both released.
Water was very good out there today matt a bit of swell  but very white caps, we were back 12.15 just as the wind came in.
Did hear on the radio someone call in vn6kc & ask how many macks they are allowed to keep, wasnt happy hearing that while we were still trying but hey good on them maybe it was 'out there' if so good onya m8 cant wait to see the photos.

ha ha yeah that was me on the radio i knew it was 2 per person just wasnt sure on boat limit the weed wasnt a problem where i was just caught the 2 then left em alone went and got a feed of whitting picked up a nice black tip then into the sound for some crabs got 18 big blues great daysmiley

Well done mate, saw ya at the boat ramp today, and they were a coupla beuty's. Hoping to get out on tuesday and have a shot at em! Bring on the Mac attack!!!!!

Tuesday looking good

Good pic out there & well done again, will be taking advantage of the predicted conditions on tues & having another crack at them & a bottom bounce.
Any info on general location, depth and lure or bait for the macs, where they mixed in with the tuna schools.

off point peron i was using a halco 2mt diver there were no tuna schools

Nice macks

Nice fish for a feed
Dont forget if you fillet them dont throw away the frame as on the BBQ covered in lemon pepper its better than the fillets

comeback, No metro ones since having the boat antcrying will try harder to get one this year though, Caught a few up steep point on trips away with the lads many years ago, got a couple with the family of the beach exmouth couple years back.
