egi or (rare) 'nito?
7am launch...a few squid then they went quiet, out went the halco's for some tailor on the 3kg egi outfit...or so I thought... wham, first bonito for me and some string pulled !! 
trolled up en route to ammo jetty.

Thats a very rare one being a Watsons Leaping Bonito(broken bars and yellow anal fin) opposed to the Oriental bonito we get around here!

yr spot on there Rockpom ! It had me stumped in the boat, with the bars and spots, and that yellow anal fin. Had to consult the sea fishes of southern australia for the same answer when i got home mate. Fisheries checked me on return and seemed pretty interested...
