Palm beach has 2 boat ramps,

Palm beach has 2 boat ramps, public dunnys, swings and play equipment for the kids, free BBQs, Gazebos, shady trees and a grassed area to sit on, the boat ramp there can easily take a 7 m vessel and plenty of parking for trailers, and is protected from the southerly wind, you can catch squid right of the end of the jetty there, perfect location.

can see with palm beach is you will be sharing the gazebos and and grassed area  with everyone else  so room may be an issue down there but at sulphr bay you should have the place to ourselves

I reckon sulphur would still

I reckon sulphur would still be the go as people may end up over there squidding if it turns out southerly early, and the blokes launching from woodies have to travel to rockingham to attend the bbq then back up to woodies to pull there boats out, plus you only need to take your food and drinks to sulphur. i'm sure kids will have a ball wherever they go.

Canarvon is a great place to fish as well, but I would never live there  Laughing out loud
plus its funny that a lot of you southerners are driving up to Two Rocks now to go fishing  ;-D
Rocko is a great place for a DAY visit

It will be the only place to

It will be the only place to be on Sunday by the looks, Mangles Bay and Palm Beach are pretty well protected from the wind and still Squidable even when the wind is up, so even the Dinghy and Kayak fishoes can still compete in comfort, there is two boat ramps at Palm Beach, it would be far better for everyone to launch and retrieve there, good ramp now with a boardwalk!
Turn right at the bottle shop ( liquorland) on Parkin st into Bell St and that takes you directly to the ramp, there is a beach area at each side of the ramp to moor up and is Family friendly, ( public toilets and swings for the kids) Free gas BBQs are available (and clean) for our use, bring a fold up chair, as the Gazeboes may be taken, but still heaps of room. There is plenty of free parking for trailers and cars, they don't charge down here yet!!
